Traditional Player Nominations

Format Overview

The Round Robin nomination format is the most traditional format in mainstream auction drafts. It follows a strict turn sequence - usually the draft order - and nominations take place between player auctions.

An example Round Robin turn sequence would be 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3.

The Classic Snake nomination format is similar, but the draft order reverses after each "round".

An example Snake turn sequence would be 1-2-3-3-2-1-1-2-3-3-2-1.

On Drafty, the turn sequence will skip any team that is disconnected or that has a full roster or empty budget.

Auction drafts using a turn-based nomination format will last 30-60 minutes longer than when using the default Freeze Tag nomination format.
